After the final examination, I received a letter from my uncle and aunt who invited me to stay with them for a fortnight. They live in the countryside near a beautiful mountain.The news brought me a restless night.
Next morning, after almost a day's ride on the bus , I reached their home and , I was kindly received by them. They prepared a very nice and airy room for me, just coming inside, on a small table , I found a vase of roses----my favorite flower.
I thanked them for their kindness. when they left me to take a rest, , I really could not do it. My attention was taken away by the charming and picturesque scenery outside the window. If , I were an artist,, I would have drawn a wonderful picture of it.
【我的寒假生活】
During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11 o’clock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on playing till 2 o’clock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day of my winter vacation.
But I haven’t bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I listen to the music or the radio in the bed，because it was very cold outside and snowy all the day. And I also meet some of my good friends during the vacation ,we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year and play table tennis tegether .And I watched the spring festival party of the CCTV in the last seconds of the 2011 year! I think this is the thing most people of china doing at that time.

In my vacation,I went to my aunt's house.I miss her really much and I was so excited to see her.I had a lot of fun with my aunt,she taught me how to cook.It was kind hot where my aunt lives,so I stayed at her house for the most of the time.I had so much fun,can't wait to visit her again!
【My summer vacation 】
My summer vacation was so interesting. I had a lot of spare time to do the things I like. I often read novels in the morning. From TV, I had learned how to cook. It was wonderful to eat the lunch that I cooked personally. Though it was hot in the afternoon, I loved doing sports with my friends,such as playing basketball and football.If it rained , table tennis is a good choice. Sometimes I would go to the Expo to enjoy the view of the world.As you can see , my summer vacation was so meaningful and interesting.
【关于假期的英语作文】
I went on a language travel tour to America last year. I stayed with a local family for three weeks. It was the most unforgettable trip I’ve ever had. I improved my English by taking lessons, talking to my American family. I had great fun taking parting in their family activities. As for this summer vacation, I've got several plans. First of all, I'm going to Taiwan with my parents. I'm really excited about the trip. I'm sure we are going to have a good time there. Then I'll go to an English class to improve my spoken English. I'll practise more with the students there. Last but not the least, I'll do some volunteering work in the community. It's great pleasure to help others. I think I'm going to have a wonderful vacation.
