一、定义:
一般过去时表示已经发生过的动作或存在的状态。常与表示过去的时间状语连用。例yesterday / last week / last month / last year / the day before yesterday…
二、 Exercise(练习)下面是妈妈出题,我来练习。
1、昨天上午你在擦车。
译: You washed your car yesterday afternoon.
对划线部分提问:What did you wash yesterday afternoon?
变否定句:You did not wash your car yesterday afternoon.
变一般疑问句:Did you wash your car yesterday afternoon?
肯定回答:Yes,I did. 否定回答:No, I didn’t.
2、前天上午他在学习。
译:He studied the day before yesterday morning.
对划线部分提问:What did he do before yesterday morning?
变否定句:He did not study the day before yesterday morning.

3、昨天天很冷。

三、动词过去式的变化规律分为规则和不规则的。
规则的:1、一般的动词直接加ed,如:cook-cooked wash-washed…… 2、以e结尾的动词直接加d,如:shave-shaved smile-smiled…… 3、以辅音字母加y结尾的,变y为i再加ed,如:cry-cried study-studied……
常见不规则的:buy-bought eat-ate go-went meet-met steal-stole do-did forget-forgot have-had read-read take-took drive-drove get-got make- made see-saw write-wrote is/am-was are-were……
