从本人开始经历考试以来，让我最不信服的标准答案就是英语，总觉得答案和自己想的各有千秋（出题的都是中国人嘛）。英语单选往往是理解性的题目，一般来说较为简单，可还是错了一道，这下好了，让我的美国朋友Stephen给我讲讲这道题到底该选谁！

The other day I heard the news that the first group of Chinese tourists arrived in America.Maybe the limit of visa will be not that strict in the future. You'll see more Chinese in America.(闲聊一下中美新闻，呵呵）
We did our exam last week.I still could not understand one of the questions.
______the disaster,all the people were thilled.
A.Seeing b.Seen C.To see D.Having seen
What is the difference between A. and D..I think they feel like the same.Why?

That's interesting. I did not know that the first group of Chinese tourist had arrived here. That is good news. Hopefully it is the first step towards it being easier for the general public of China to come to the United States to visit. （总会有一天到美国看看的）
I think A. and D. could both be correct answers in terms of gramar.
If you said A. "Seeing the disaster" it would imply that the people were thrilled WHILE SEEING the disaster.
However, if you were to say D. "having seen the disaster" it would imply that even AFTER seeing the disaster the people were thrilled that they had seen it.
I don't know if that makes any sense. I'm not so good about explaining that type of stuff it writting. （看来美国学生对他们母语的语法也是马马虎虎喽）Hope it helped.
英语就是说出来的，适当的语法固然重要，但总不能让我们太过钻研于此而使英语学习喧宾夺主阿！
